Product Photography

Last week I did another shoot for 'kease'. I am pleased to say the day went well, I was happy with the result and I gained some great feedback from the designer.

Work is Busy

After a day in work, the night seems to go so fast that I hardly get anything that I intend to have done. I have been busy coming up with lots of idea's for the new space :) and everything it entails. However a couple of things I can cross off my to-do-list are that I managed to sort insurance out a lot easier than I thought and I have received my keys for the my up and coming studio :P

 

I have also designed a basic set up plan and finally got round to editing some new photographs.

My plans for the weekend will be to start decorating the studio and create more flyers/poster's ect.

 I aim to do as much advertising as I can in order to promote my Business.

 

 

 

Quick Update

Had a very busy day today. Starting with photographing a selection of KEASE, I managed to get some really got product shot's, These will be up just as I get round to uploading them.
Then this afternoon I went to see some space which is perfect to start my studio business. I can't wait to get started now. Soo excited to get decorating the place and move my stuff in.
Working with a low starting budget my next plans will be to come up with some creative idea's that will make the place look very welcoming and homely.
My aim is to get the studio open by October and get as many custom in over the Christmas period; at the same price as my current special offer. With my organisation and determination skills I will get my business up and running :D

Yesterday I spent my Sunday morning photographing to gorgeous little boys. I had good fun playing with different idea's and the lads loved posing for the camera, even when it did take a little persuasion with chocolate haha. Here are some of my favourites that I'd like to share with you. I think the outcome went down well :D

 

Kease

Having just been shopping for fun accessories for the studio, I am now getting excited for all the shoots coming up soon. I plan to try and keep my blog updates more recent now and share my photographs with you all. I'm hoping my diary over the next few months is going to get full quickly ! :)

For now I would just like to share a couple of images with you I did a few months back. These are product shots to advertise a new fashion key fob, for a company called kease. These fob's allow you to clip keys to your pocket or diary inside you bag. This new design is very useful for all those who just chuck your keys at the bottom of your bag and then end up having to tip it upside down in order to find them...we've all done it haha.

I have another commission for Kease coming up next week. I aim to get some more photographs that they can use for future adverts :D

 

Okay, so it's been a while since I was last active with my blog account, but after 3 years of hard grafting at university, a good summer break was much needed ;)

Now it is time to get stuck back into my work and concentrate on building a career.

So here is the low down...... I have currently bought some new equipment and props, had my lighting kit tested, purchased new businesses cards and created some flyers. YES THATS RIGHT...I am going to kick start my career by setting my own mobile Portraiture Business up. 

My aim is to capture those lasting memories of events such as a new baby in the family, a birthday or special occasion...fun with the friends or simply just a good old fashioned family shoot. By bringing the studio to the clients, they can feel relaxed in the comfort of their own home.

With Christmas coming soon I really can't wait to get in the studio and capture some fun, fancy dress portraits. In fact I have my first shoot at the end of this week...eeeek :D...so there will be some pictures to follow up soon enough.

.....and after 2 months of waiting for my graduation photograph, it has finally arrived. Such an achievement! :)
